Hello Scribblers!

Hopefully if you’re reading this you’ve come over from Rachael’s page. If you have; great! You should know who I am. If not; (catchphrase incoming) “No worries!” I’m Sid, the Art Director / Co-ordinator for the Scribbles magazine. I take care of all the visuals you’re graced with within our pages and collating all the beautiful art from artists around the world!

What to expect

I mostly stick to the background and the artists Instagram page to bring together my Scribbles content, but for a while now I’ve wanted to annotate some of the behind-the-scenes stuff that I get up to. I feel it’s very easy to appreciate the look of our magazines and to understand that a lot of work goes into creating them, without actually noticing all the tiny separate details that gets added to the pages to create the whole.

So in most of the posts I make here I’ll be getting into the minutiae of the graphics I create and the decisions we make (and some secrets too) that I don’t get the chance to put into Instagram, or that doesn’t exactly fit there.

I’ll also be making love-posts to share how much I appreciate the Scribbles community and our special team, like the one you’ll find directly following this post!
